Kerith Parashak
Hi! I'm Kerith, a designer, artist and fabricator specializing in visual narrative design.
I work in a range of mediums, including 2D and 3D animation, AR and XR broadcasts, and theatrical productions. I encourage you to explore my portfolio and see the creativity that drives my work.
ABOUT
Originally from St. Louis, I received my undergraduate degree in Art History with a minor in Archaeology from Washington University in St. Louis. In between classes on the history of Caricatures and Gothic Cathedrals, my roommate convinced me to take a scene painting class with her. And that was it. I was hooked. I then received my Masters in Scenic Design for Theatre at University Missouri- Kansas City.
After completing my masters, I moved to Chicago and spent time charging and painting at multiple production houses, along with freelance designing at various theatres in the Midwest.
Deciding I wanted to focus on designing in the broader sense, I turned my attentions to animation- working with Animated Storyboards and its sister company, Silverspoon Animation to design backgrounds and characters for a variety of projects including the NFL/Nickelodeon Christmas simulcast and commercials for Campbells and Frito-Lay
